What is Life is Strange Double Exposure?

Life is Strange Double Exposure" is an adventure game in which players use their psychic powers to solve mysteries. The protagonist is Max, a photography instructor at the prestigious Caledon College in northern Vermont. After witnessing the death of her best friend Saffy, she uses her suddenly-acquired power to travel to parallel worlds to get to the bottom of a murder case.

In the other world to which Max can travel, her best friend Saffy, who was supposed to have been killed, is still alive; although the events that occur in the two worlds are different, Max's ability to connect the worlds allows her to achieve what she could not do in each world alone and to get closer to the truth of the case. As the story progresses, the player makes numerous choices through Max. Once a choice is made, it is not possible to rewind time and choose again, so it is important to make decisions carefully. A choice that seems good now may not necessarily have a good outcome later...

The System

Max has the ability to sense the existence of parallel worlds and can see into other worlds. He can also travel between two worlds, one in which his best friend Saffy is dead and one in which he is alive. By connecting the two worlds with his abilities, he is able to investigate the movements of a suspicious person from the other world without being noticed, or to obtain an object in the other world and move it to the other world, and so on.

Character Introduction

Max Coldfield *CV: Kumi Tanaka

28 years old. Photographer. He is an introvert, but works as a lecturer at Caledonian University. He has studied photography since high school and has won awards and attention on a small scale. He has a history of being involved in an incident and is deeply traumatized, but he is slowly moving forward by building friendships in a new environment.

Safi Fayyad *CV on the left of the image : Toa Yukinari

Age 25. A graduate student at Caledonian University and Max's friend. She has literary talent and aspires to be a poet. In contrast to Max, she is a mischievous and playful person who teases Max at every opportunity, but she is a dear friend and trusts him wholeheartedly. On a night of astronomical observation, he was found murdered.
