Sequel to TV animation "Tokyo Revengers" to be produced! New key visual and PV revealed! In 2025, an event will be held to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the anime's broadcast!

The decision to produce a sequel to the TV anime "Tokyo Revengers" has been announced.

The original story "Tokyo Manji Revengers" is a time-lapse suspense by Ken Wakui, the author of "Shinjuku Swan," which began serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2017. It won the 44th Kodansha Manga Award for Juvenile Division. Contents are being developed in multiple ways, including TV animation, live-action movies, and stage productions.

The decision to produce a sequel to the TV anime "Tokyo Revengers" was announced on stage at the "Matsudo Touring" event held on June 16, 2024 (Sunday) to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the release and formation of the TV anime "Tokyo Revengers" Aiinumu-ka.

The key visual and PV of the sequel production decision were also revealed. The key visual depicts Takemichi and Mikey covered in scars, and the PV is a condensed version of famous scenes from the previous season, with Takemichi and Mikey's last line foreshadowing the beginning of new revenge.

At the event, a project to commemorate the 5th anniversary was also announced. The first of these projects will be a character image song live "Dachi Live," which will be held on February 2, 2025, at Pacifico Yokohama.

In addition, on October 23 (Wed.), the TV anime "Tokyo Revengers" Duet EP 01 will be released, which contains image songs sung by pairs of characters. The second and subsequent projects for the 5th anniversary will be announced at a later date.
