Kamaitachi no Yoru" is a sound novel that celebrates its 30th anniversary this year since the first title was released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in November 1994. The game allows players to read the text displayed on the entire screen, and by making choices, the game unfolds into various storylines.

The game has been highly acclaimed by players since its initial release, with a cumulative total of approximately 2 million units shipped in the series.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary, the third title in the series, "Kamaitachi no Yoru x3 (Triple)," which was originally released for PlayStation2 in 2006, will be released on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation4, and Steam.
