The Legend of Zelda: The Karimono of Wisdom" is the latest title in the "The Legend of Zelda" series, in which Princess Zelda, who had previously appeared as the heroine, becomes the main character for the first time.

Mysterious fissures appear throughout the vast region of Hyrule, and a "godforsakenness" occurs, swallowing people and things. Link, the swordsman, is swallowed up by it and goes missing. Princess Zelda sets off on an adventure around Hyrule to save her people and Link.

Princess Zelda meets the fairy "Tolly," and with the power of the Tolly Rod she is given, she is able to use the power of "Karimono," which allows her to borrow various items in Hyrule, such as tables, crates, and beds.

Once borrowed, these items can be created anywhere at any time. The player's strategy changes freely depending on his or her choices and ideas about which Karimono to use, such as creating a table or a bed to jump over a cliff that blocks the way to the next destination.

The demons that lurk in Hyrule also fight on Princess Zelda's behalf as "Karimono.

Strategy is key in battles as well, as players must use their wits to determine which demons to send to battle based on the situation and their compatibility with each other.
