The "Watermelon King No. 1 Decision Tournament," a competition in which players from all over Japan compete for the top score in the watermelon game, will be held.

The online qualifying round (*1) will be held from July 1 (Mon.) to 15 (Mon.), and players can participate from Nintendo Switch version/iOS version/Android version (*2). (*2) The top 8 finalists with the highest total score will be selected to participate in the "Watermelon King No. 1 Championship" final at "Watermelon Game Summer Watermelon Harvest Festival" to be held on July 27 (Sat) at Bellesalle Akihabara. The management will cover all travel and accommodation expenses (*3) for the participants selected as finalists. In the finals, the eight finalists will be divided into two groups of four each for the preliminary round. The two highest-scoring players from each group will qualify, and a total of four finalists will advance to the finals to determine the No. 1 finalist. The player with the highest score in the finals will win the title of "Watermelon King.
