BS12 Twelvi is currently broadcasting "Sunday Anime Gekijo" on Sunday nights from 7:00 pm, specializing in theatrical and feature-length animated programs.

The original story is based on the comic of the same title by Shuichi Shigeno, which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine," the magazine that ignited the motorcycle boom. The film was released in theaters.

<Story> "The Legend of Bari Bari
A high school student who loves motorcycles, Gomagun (Gunn), loses a battle on a mountain pass on the Okutama highway to Sei Hideyoshi (Hidayoshi), a small but prodigious rider. Eventually, Hidayoshi transfers to Gunn's class, and the conflict between the two escalates.
One day, Gunn and Hidayoshi are invited to participate in the Suzuka 4-hour endurance race by Miyuki Ichinose (Mi), a female rider in their class whom they both admire. The spectators in the stands are gradually captivated by the pair's passionate riding. ......
