Grief's Ghost Wants to Retire" is a popular novel by Tsukikage that has been serialized on "Shosetsu-ka Naro" since 2018 and published by "GC Novels". Volumes 1-10 of the original novel are currently on sale, and the latest volume, volume 11, will be released on February 29, 2024 (Thursday). A comic book adaptation is also being serialized in Dengeki Comics NEXT, with volumes 1-8 now on sale. The latest volume 9 will be released on Monday, February 26, 2024. The popularity of the series continues to grow and has already sold more than 1.3 million copies, making it the strongest comedy fantasy about misunderstandings.
The anime adaptation will be directed by Masahiro Takata and produced by Xergee.

It was announced that the TV anime of "Grief's Ghost Wants to Retire: The Strongest Party Training Technique by the Weakest Hunter" will start airing in October 2024.

In addition to the previously announced Kensho Ono who plays the main character, Cry, and Miyu Kubota who plays Tino, one of the heroines, the cast and character designs of five of the strongest party "Strange Ghosts of Grief" led by Cry were revealed at the same time.

Luke is a childhood friend of Kurai and one of the strongest swordsmen in the Imperial Capital who is proficient in all kinds of swordsmanship. His nickname is "Senken.

He is a swordsman who devotes his soul to the sword, and when he recognizes a strong foe, he is one of the two "Strange Ghosts of Grief" (the other is Lies), who happily slashes at them.

He uses a wooden sword after being told by Kurai to go easy on him.

The Strange Grief's reckless fighting style is only possible thanks to Ansem's recovery magic.

He is a reliable man in general, but his only weakness is that he is too soft on his younger sisters, Lies and Citry, and he cannot be relied on to control them at all.
