NAMCO BANDAI Filmworks Announces New Lineup for Summer 2024! Including "Zegapain STA," a postquel to "Zegapain," and "Code Geass: Retrieval of Rosé" and more!

Among theatrical productions, "Yamato yo eternity REBEL3199 Chapter 1: Black Invasion," a new interpretation of the third theatrical film "Yamato yo eternity" released in 1980, will be released on Friday, July 19, 2024, and an original anime produced by SUNRISE Studio, a postquel to "Zegapain" titled Zegapain STA" will begin on Friday, August 16, and a completely new episode of the series, the movie "Love Live! Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Club: The Complete Chapter 1" will be screened from September 6 (Fri.). The third and final act of "Code Geass: Retrieval of Rosé," the first act of which was released in May, will be released on July 5 (Fri.) and August 2 (Fri.), respectively.

In TV animation, the otherworldly anime "This World is Too Imperfect" (from Friday, July 5) and "Wistoria of the Staff and the Sword" (from Sunday, July 7) will be broadcast. In addition, the second season of "SHY" (from July 1 (Mon.)) and "Tower of God - The Return of the Prince" (from July 7 (Sun.)), sequels to the popular series, will start to liven up the summer with a broad lineup of programs.
