This work is a TV anime adaptation of "Goddess of Cafe Terrace" by Kouji Seo, which is currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), and the first season was broadcast from April to July 2023. It is a seaside romantic comedy that depicts the extravagant shared life of a genius, Jun Kasukabe, who passed the entrance exam for Tokyo University, and five beautiful strangers who talk about "grandma's family" at "Familia," a cafe run by his late grandmother. The show is a seaside romantic comedy about a luxurious life together with five people of destiny.

On July 4 at 8:30 p.m., the day of the broadcast of the 13th episode, a special program will be broadcast on "ABEMA" featuring Masaaki Mizunaka (playing Jun Kasukabe), Ki Yamane (playing Ryusei Tsukishima), Sayumi Suzushiro (playing Akimizu Tsurukawa), and Ruriko Aoki (playing Sakuraka Makuzawa), just before the second season airs.

The special program will review the first season and introduce new characters that will appear in the second season. and a unique corner project to improve customer service skills through a customer service etude. This is a special program just before the show, full of highlights such as menus with a unique sense of taste and customer service etudes in which each character demonstrates their one and only customer service skills.

Synopsis

Episode 13 "Black Shadow in Familia

After expressing their feelings to Hayabusa, Momiji and Shirakiku can no longer hide their fondness for each other, and even during "Familia" business hours, Hayabusa and Shirakiku naturally become physically close. Sakuraba, concerned about the store's public morals, warns Momiyo and Shirakiku, but they refuse to admit their feelings. Furthermore, when Ryusei confides her love for Hayabusa in front of Sakuraba and the others, Sakuraba is troubled by the relationships at Familia. She talks to her sister Tachibana about it, but Tachibana points out the feelings she has for Hayabusa.
