Anime adaptation of Yuji Iwahara's original comic "Clevates: The King of Monsters, Babies, and Corpse Braves" is coming! Kiyoshi Taguchi, who has worked on many special effects works including the "Ultraman" series, makes his directorial debut as an animation director!

An anime adaptation of "Crevates: The King of Monsters, the Akago and the Corpse Brave" currently serialized on LINE Manga has been announced, and along with the announcement of the TV anime adaptation, a teaser visual and the first PV were released.

Crevates: The King of Monsters, Babies, and Corpses" is a popular comic series written by Yuji Iwahara that is currently being serialized on LINE Manga, and a new edition will be published by MF Comics Alive + Series (KADOKAWA) on July 5, 2012.

Along with the announcement of the TV anime adaptation, a teaser visual and the first PV were released. Kiyotaka Taguchi, who has worked on many special effects works including the "Ultraman" series, is taking on the challenge of directing an anime for the first time! The main cast includes Haruka Shiraishi, Mutsushin Tamura, and Yuichi Nakamura, all of whom are very talented! Comments from the staff and cast are also available!

Introduction

Alicia, who has longed to be a hero since she was a child, is one of the 13 heroes chosen by the king.
Armed with the legendary sword, the heroes set out to defeat the demon beast king Crevates.
However, their valor leads to the worst possible crisis that could destroy the entire human race on the continent of Edsair.
The only hope left in the world is a baby entrusted to the Demon Beast King.

--How did you feel when the anime adaptation was decided?

Crevates" is my first fantasy work. It is a subject that I have been familiar with since I was a child, but surprisingly, this is my first attempt at it. That is why I am so fired up about it and have a lot of feelings for it. I also took on new challenges, such as making the entire film in color. I am very happy and excited about the animation. I hope that more people will come into contact with this work and like it.

Kiyotaka Taguchi (Director)

--This is your first time directing an animated film!

I am enjoying making this work, feeling fresh surprise at the vastly different production process even for the same video work. I am also experimenting with live-action techniques that can be applied to the production, and I hope to show you some interesting chemical reactions in the film. Please look forward to this adventure adventure with a story, a cast, and a staff full of curmudgeons!

Haruka Shiraishi (Alicia)

--Please tell us about your enthusiasm for playing the role of Alicia!

I will be playing the role of Alicia! My name is Haruka Shiraishi.

When I was told about the audition, I read the original story for the first time! And although I thought it was a royal fantasy, I was thrilled that I couldn't read the story at all! A story that draws you in so quickly!

I hope to play the role of Alicia to the best of my ability, who has a strong and tough core, just like the momentum of the original story!

Please look forward to this unpredictable story that begins with a mysterious encounter between a "magical beast," a "baby," and a "corpse hero!

--Please tell us about your enthusiasm for playing the role of Kuren!

Kuren is a higher being and looks at humans as if they were insects.

Maybe that's why he is so difficult to play! He doesn't move easily and doesn't show emotion.

I didn't realize how difficult it is to speak that way! It is very difficult.

But this story is very interesting! I am too anxious to see how it develops!

I will do my best with my voice so that the anime will be a good one too!
