Based on a popular mystery novel by Naoki Prize-winning author Honobu Yonezawa, the creator of "Hyouka" and other "Classics Club" series, the series has sold more than 1.1 million copies.
Kobato, who once had a bitter experience through a deductive activity she called "Chie-work," decides to become a pure and modest little citizen. She and her like-minded classmate Osanai secretly form a "mutually beneficial relationship" in which they help each other out, and plan to make their high school debut as small citizens and live a peaceful life together, but for some reason, their school life is filled with a series of unexplainable incidents and mishaps, This is a coming-of-age mystery.
The TV anime will begin airing on July 6, 2024 (Sat.) on TV Asahi's "NUMAnimation" slot, BS Asahi, and 24 other TV networks nationwide.

The TV anime "Koichimin Series" will start airing on July 6, 2024 (Sat) on the "NUMAnimation" slot of the nationwide network of 24 stations of TV Asahi, BS Asahi, and others. Ahead of the broadcast, the synopsis and scene photos of the first episode have been released.

Jongoro Kobato and Yuki Osanai made a promise to become peaceful and modest little citizens. However, Kobato is sent to search for a pochette that was stolen from the school. Can Kobato and her friends, suddenly confronted with an incident, spend a peaceful after-school life?
