An action game about shadows. Players explore various locations, controlling "Skim," a mysterious being who is recognizable as a child but becomes invisible as he or she grows older. Skims can only move in shadows extending from people and objects. The key to the game is to use various shadows according to the situation, such as moving through shadows cast by the sun during the day, or using shadows cast by the lights of houses and street lamps instead of the sun at night.

Marin Kirizumi, one of the few people who can use magic, has lived a life of oppression because of her circumstances.
