EARTH DEFENSE FORCE: IRON RAIN" for PS4 to be released on April 11, 2012, with package visuals!

D3 Publisher has released the package visuals for "EARTH DEFENSE FORCE: IRON RAIN" for PS4, scheduled for release on April 11 (Thursday).

EARTH DEFENSE FORCE: IRON RAIN (EDF:IR) is the latest title in the EDF project, with a worldview that is distinct from the company's popular action TPS "Earth Defense Forces" series. Set on a devastated Earth, the game realistically depicts the EDF and its soldiers who continue to fight. The game was developed by Yuke's Inc. The theme music is by Takashi Aragaki and the creature design is by Ryu Oyama.

The package visual for this work has now been released!　The mysterious giant creature "Sidiros," designed by Ryu Oyama, is at the center of a swarm of invaders from outer space who attack the city from the sky and from the ground. Check out the stunning visuals depicting EDF members wearing four types of PA gear as they confront the threat.
