Autumn Anime "Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Swordsman Romantic Tan" 2nd season "Kyoto Disturbance" new PV released! Character visuals and cast comments of Misao Makimachi have arrived!

A new PV and additional character visuals for the second season of "Kyoto Disturbance" were revealed at the TV anime "Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Swordsman Romantic Tan" special event "Rurouni Kenshin Festival Kyoto Disturbance Opening Round" held on July 7, 2024.

Rurouni Kenshin" was serialized by Nobuhiro Watsuki in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 1994, and became a TV anime in 1996. The live-action movie became a blockbuster hit, grossing over 19.3 billion yen in total box-office revenue, and a sequel, "Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Tan, Hokkaido Arc," is currently serialized in "JUMP SQ.

In 2023, a new TV anime series with a renewed staff and cast will air in July 2023 for a total of 24 episodes in the first season, followed by the second season "Kyoto Disturbance" from October 2024. The cast has been completely renewed, including Souma Saito as Kenshin Himura, and the original author, Nobuhiro Watsuki, is supervising the entire series, including character design and scenario.

On July 7, 2024, at the "Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Swordsman Romantic Tan" special event "Rurouni Kenshin Festival Kyoto Udoran Opening Round", a new PV and additional character visuals of the second season "Kyoto Udoran" were revealed.

In the second season of "Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Swordsman Romantic Tan - Kyoto Doran", Himura Kenshin will not spend his days in the Kamiya Dojo in peace and quiet, but will have to face the hardship of confronting Shizuo Makoto. The stage is moved from Tokyo, and new encounters and fierce battles are depicted.

In 2023, the staff and cast will be renewed and the first 24 episodes of the first season will be broadcast in July 2023, followed by the second season, "Kyoto Disturbance," starting in October 2024.
