New cast members have been announced for the second season of "5000-Year-Old Herbivorous Dragon, Recognized as an Evil Dragon Without a Cause," which will begin airing in October 2024. Comments from the original author and cast members have also been received.

The original story is based on the Kadokawa Sneaker Bunko's "5000 Year Old Herbivorous Dragon, Recognized as an Evil Dragon without Reason: Yada Kono Sacrifice, Hito no Hanashi wo Kikin Hikarunai" (Written by: Kaiharu Enomoto). The film depicts the story of a kind-hearted "herbivorous dragon" who is mistaken for an evil dragon because of his frightening appearance, and a sacrificial girl named Reko who possesses supernatural powers.

The long-awaited second season of the TV anime "5000 Year Old Herbivorous Dragon, Recognized as an Evil Dragon", the first season of which aired in 2022, will begin airing in October 2024.
