Summer Anime "Kimi to Boku no Sentaku no Last Senjo, or The World Begins Seisen" season II, episode 2 synopsis & advance cuts released! Sisvel and Iska are rapidly approaching!

The light novel work by Kei Hosone and illustrated by Aoi Nekanabe has been published by Fujimi Fantasia Bunko since 2017 (volume 15 is currently on sale). In 2018, it was adapted into a comicalization (Young Animal Comics, currently on sale up to volume 7), and in the same year, it was made into an audio drama on YouTube.
It was adapted into a TV anime in October 2020, and a stage adaptation in 2022. Finally, Season II began airing on July 10, 2024 (Wednesday), three and a half years after Season I finished airing.

Episode 2 "Witches - Sister War (Alice's Great Explosion)

<Synopsis.
After a chance meeting with Iska at the Reese's Barten, Alice and Rin start following him to find out why he is at the Imperial Palace. Unexpectedly, Sisvel, the target of their search, comes into contact with Iska. The atmosphere between the two of them is like a date, and Alice becomes increasingly annoyed at what is supposed to be a serious tailing. As if to follow her, the distance between the two rapidly approaches .......

＜Introduction
The "Empire," a machine-made utopia with advanced science and technology.
The "Nebulis Empire" is feared as a "land of witches" that makes full use of supernatural power and astrology.
The two nations have been at war for a long time.
Iska, the Empire's most powerful warrior, and Alice Liese, the "Witch of the Ice Disaster," the princess of the Imperial Office, have come to know each other's true faces through fierce battles, and have become rivals attracted to each other's way of life and ideals.
After crushing the plots of the empire and the imperial government in the independent state of Alsamira, the two vowed to meet again and went their separate ways, but they fulfilled their promise in a surprising way.
Iska strikes a deal with Alice's sister, Sisvel, and infiltrates the Imperial Guard.
Alice visits the imperial city of Lysburten as part of a search party for Sisvel.
A chance reunion sets their hearts aflame, but ......
At the same time, the "Pureblood E-Subject", an Imperial informant, is working in the dark within the Imperial Agency, and the Imperial "Special Mission - Queen Capture Project" is about to be set in motion.
Can Iska and Alice, who are being torn apart without a choice, resist their fate?
