Ranma 1/2" was serialized in "Weekly Shōnen Sunday" (Shogakukan) from 1987 #36 to 1996 #12 and is still an enormously popular classic comic today.
The story begins when father Genma Saotome and his son Ranma, who had been training in China, arrive at the Tendou household. But what appears there is a giant panda and a cute girl! After Ranma's training in China, he has developed a strange constitution that turns him into a woman when he is covered with water and back into a man when he is covered with hot water...

Ranma and his friends involve the unique personalities around them, cry, laugh, and sometimes fall in love, and it has gained worldwide popularity as an unrivaled fighting romantic comedy that has not faded at all.

Broadcasting will begin on October 5, 2024 on Saturdays from 24:55 on Nippon Television Network Corporation (NTV), followed by sequential nationwide broadcasts on other NTV networks. It will also be distributed exclusively on Netflix immediately after the broadcast.

MAPPA is in charge of the animation production of this work. The animation will be directed by Kounosuke Uda of "ONE PIECE" and "DAYS," and will be produced by the same studio that produced "Dungeon Rice" and "Uchitama? 〜Uchitama Shiranai ka? 〜Kimiko Uenokiko of "Dungeon Life" and "Uchi Tama?

All the characters are unique, and I thought the exchange between Ranma and Akane was very cute and not honest.
