Wow, Yanmar is making an anime! Anime "Unru" will be broadcast on terrestrial wave in the spring of 2025! General producer is Masuro Ueda

The original commercial anime "Miru," produced and produced by Yanmar, will be broadcast on terrestrial television in the spring of 2025 with Masuro Ueda as the general producer. The official title will be "Miru: Bokushite no Mirai," and it will be broadcast in an omnibus format with a total of five episodes.

In this work, the main character struggles to change his current situation and grows up while interacting with robots to change the future.

What? Yanmar is making an animated film! I was shocked, as if I had been hit on the head with a hammer. And it's a robot animation too! No, and on top of that, it doesn't even have weapons? A robot with no weapons! I started my animation career with "Mobile Suit Gundam," and I never thought I would be making robot animation again at my age.
However, when I heard about the project, the members' attitude toward the challenge and their motivation made me think that this could be quite interesting, and I am now quite absorbed in the project. I am very happy to be a part of this project, which may become the last shooting of my life as an animator.

＜Synopsis
The robot "MIRU" was created by mankind in the distant future. It has no weapons and travels through time and space in a time leap, visiting various eras. Although the worlds are parallel in time and place, MIRU encounters people in every era who are struggling to survive, and accompanies them through their problems and suffering, encouraging them to take a step toward a new life.
By meeting "MIRU," humanity begins to walk toward hope.
Why was the robot created, and can it save the future of a dystopian earth? MIRU itself is not perfect, and it learns from its encounters with others.
Humanity takes a step toward a bright future with its new friend "MIRU," a small step, but that step, like the "Butterfly Effect," creates a great change and becomes a step toward rebirth.
