Jigoku Sensei Nube-" is a legendary super-popular occult comic series written by Sho Makura (original story) and Tsuyoshi Okano (manga) and serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (published by Shueisha) from 1993 to 1999, with a total circulation of 29 million copies. It is a school hero action story about a psychic teacher with the hands of a demon, Meisuke Nuno, a.k.a. "Nu~be~," who battles ghosts, evil spirits, and other bizarre phenomena in order to protect his students.

While the story based on school ghost stories and urban legends shocks readers' hearts, "Nu~be~"'s heroic role in protecting students from the threat of yokai and evil spirits at the cost of their lives has gained popularity across generations, and it has now been announced that a new anime adaptation will be released in 2025.

Along with the announcement, a teaser visual and the first PV were also released.

The teaser visual depicts "Nu~be~" holding up a crystal ball in a school corridor. Inside the crystal ball, the symbol of "Nu~be~", usually hidden by a glove, is revealed as "Oni no Kata", a devil's hand, creating an ominous visual. The "ogre's hand", which is usually hidden by a glove, is exposed in this ominous visual, and behind it there is a child and an eerie shadow that is creeping up on them. ......

In the first PV, we see a school with a strange atmosphere, a hallway, and the reflection of a spirit crystal, a tool used by "Nu~be~" to remove spirits, is dotted in the image, and we can hear what sounds like a child's cry for help.

I am very happy to see a new anime adaptation of my work in 2025. The times have changed, the animation is digital, and the setting and the children of the 5th grade 3 class have been changed to match the modern age. Fans can look forward to a completely new structure and the same old charm of Nu~Bee.
