M-A-O, Misato Fukuen, Tomoaki Takahashi, and others appear in the anime "Giant Mushroom Archipelago

The cast information of "Giant Mushi Archipelago," which will be adapted into an anime, has been released.

The "Giant Mushi Archipelago" is a survival horror story in which giant "bugs" attack humans. A plane crashes during a school trip, and the group ends up on an island ruled by giant bugs. The group is forced to risk their lives in order to escape the onslaught of bugs in this insect panic film.
The original story is by Yasutaka Fujimi, who has worked on many insect comics. Based on the concept of "what if insects grew into a giant", REDICE's drawings realistically depict the situation, which has become popular. The manga has been supported by many fans, including being ranked No. 1 in monthly access on a famous manga website.

The anime will be included in the special edition of the original comics volume 6, which will be released on June 20, 2019 (Thursday). This special edition with anime is a completely pre-order-only product, and pre-orders will begin on Saturday, January 19, 2019 (until May 7). The staff of the anime is directed by Takahashi Tsuyoshi of "Wolf and Spice" and "Akisora," with a script by Morita Shigeru of "Arpeggio Ars Nova" and character design by Noguchi Takayuki of "Queen's Blade Rebellion." Animation production will be handled by Paschone.

The cast information of the female members of the 2nd year class 1 has been released. M-A-O will play the role of Mutsumi Oribe, who is skilled at survival, Rika Tachibana will play the role of Chitose Naruse, the class president, Misato Fukuen will play Ayumi Matsuoka, the captain of the soft club, Momo Asakura will play Mami Miura, a fledgling idol, and Tomoaki Takahashi will play Misuzu Kamino, who will do whatever it takes to survive. The film is scheduled to premiere at the end of March.
