Review of Doyusha's "Transformers" Megatron! Voice actor Yasuyuki Tai plays around with the new toy, which is easy to assemble, has pre-painted parts, a light-emitting gimmick, and lots of other topics!

When you are a working adult, you tend to have a lot of plastic models piled up in your busy life. ...... In this series, Yasuyuki Tai, a voice actor who loves robots and plastic models, takes on the challenge of building plastic models on your behalf!

The concept is "even busy working people can make it this far on their weekends off! The only two rules of this article are that the model must be finished in its unassembled state and that you can only spend one or two days building it! Read this series, and you will surely find the plastic model you want to build.

Taiyuki's Weekend Plastic Model Vol. 95 "Transformers" Megatron

This time it's "Transformers"! Megatron", the first in the "AMK PRO" series of semi-finished assembly kits developed by yolopark and released in Japan by Doyusha!

Although it is called an "assembly kit," each part of the Megatron is contained in its own blister, so no tools are needed at all! Moreover, since it is pre-painted, you only need to assemble it to complete the wonderful Megatron.

The left side is the outer box, and the right side is the surface of the inner box. As the name "DIECAST" indicates, the main body is moderately heavy. The choice of Megatron as the first model in the series is very astringent.

The blister is stacked in two layers. Even though it is an assembly kit, no cutting out of parts or painting is required as it is in this condition. Please rest assured.

We had seen this at the All Japan Model Hobby Show, and when we saw this state, we said, "There is also this. There is this one too! It was a little fun to see it in this condition.

Here is a brief introduction of the assembly. The head is connected with a ball joint. It is a little hard, so be careful when removing it.

The shoulders, arms, waist, and wrists are all connected to the shafts. The shafts have "returns" so they will not fall off easily.

The base of the thighs and ankles are also connected with shafts. This completes the main body. See, isn't it easy?

Attach the barrel part of the pistol to the back: ......

Attach the fusion cannon to the right arm. The screw part seen on the fusion cannon side is the button battery box.

Here is the completed Megatron-sama. This item is a non-transforming figure, and the style is outstanding.

The detailed painting and weathering of the figure also gives it a really nice atmosphere. In the movie, when Transformers collide with each other, you can hear a hard and heavy metallic sound, and this one also has a hard appearance.

Rear. It looks pretty neat. In the Megatron toys released at the time the anime aired, the barrel part of the back was transformed so that it faced forward from the right side, but since this figure appeared in the anime, this has become the standard.

A close-up of the face part and the surrounding painted area. The eyes are clear parts. The scraped and dirty paint on the body surface is just right.

And this face part comes in a total of three types. In addition to this normal face, ......

A "hahaha! Nice work, Condor!" smiling face.

This is a face with more details and a deep sculpted face. Both are possible. Please enjoy it as you like.

Destron mark is on the chest. The abdomen and the sides of the figure have many parts to be painted, but they are all painted with a high degree of accuracy. The weathering on the black waist area also looks good.

The fingers on the wrist are movable, including the thumb, index finger, and other fingers. The cuffs, which tend to get dirty even on humans, may also be easily soiled by Transformers. This is also where we can feel their life-form-like nature.

The fusion cannon also has weathering. The balance of size with the main body of Megatron is also as expected. It is just right.

The inside of the calves of the legs, which are hidden when transformed into pistols, have details that look like that. The fact that the figure is originally a transforming robot is not forgotten. The weathering on the legs also gives a metallic look.

Each threaded carved part has a black line to make it look tighter.

The legs are large, making it very stable.

As you will see in the video for more details, the eyes have a built-in light-emitting gimmick.

There is no switch on the outside, and the switch is switched by a magnetic function. The magnet is built into the barrel portion of the back, and the switch reacts when it is brought close to the forehead. Each time the magnet is brought close, the light turns on => blinks => pulses => turns off.

Megatron's eye

The fusion cannon also has a light-emitting gimmick. After all, this is the point where we want it to glow, isn't it?

Destron army, attack!

The knees can be bent in a slightly inverted joint, allowing the figure to stand in a heroic pose.

The base of the wrists can be snapped.

Well done Soundwave!"

The elbows also bend deeply. Shoulder movement is also surprisingly wide.

The fingers are movable, so it is possible to point at something.

The base of the shoulder can swing forward.

The base of the neck can be lifted in this manner, which is effective in creating a condescending attitude toward others.

From here, we can reconfirm the range of motion. Excellent front to back leg opening and forward bending movement of the abdomen and chest. Horizontal shoulder lifting and finger deployment can be seen. The right ankle is shown with the toes lifted to the fullest extent. Incidentally, without image processing, it stands on its own.

Left and right legs can be opened 180°. The base of the neck is slightly lifted. The right ankle is now fully extended.

The knee is double-jointed and can stand on one knee. The waist and chest can also be seen in this image.

The ankle toes are also movable, allowing for this kind of stooped posture. The movable abdomen, chest, and base of the neck are very useful for posing.

The figure is very mobile.

Stand and pedestal are included.

The base of the support pillar has the Destron mark.

If you use the included stand properly, you can pose it like this. The pedestal seems to be designed in such a way that it can be connected to several other pedestals.

My Sabertron of long ago! My home of the shining metal moon!"

The figure reproduces Megatron-sama as he drank himself to victory.

The "Key of Vector Sigma," a key that played a major role in the birth of Stantron, is also included. It is made of metal and has a sense of weight.

It's the Circuit Key of Vector Sigma. This will bring my Stantron unit to life!"

Centurions, you are commanded!

If you hold it well, you can even put your thumb on the switch. The modeling is still very well reproduced.

The energy flail, which was rarely used in the movie but left a great impression on me because I saw it every week in the OP video, is also included. It is made of purple clear parts.

The energy flail can be attached to the wrist by replacing it with the wrist. The chain part has four movable parts, allowing you to recreate the pose where the chain is cut off in the middle of swinging.

The retention force of the movable parts is also quite good.

The laser dagger used in "Transformers The Movie" is also included.

The long blade is clear molded and looks quite cool.

Isn't Megatron holding the dagger a little too cool?

In the movie, he never makes a pose like this, but he is perfectly posed as if he were a hero robot.

Deeeeeeeeeeeeee!

This may be the most glorious scene in "The Movie.

Megatron's expression is a little bit austere, a little bit like a period drama.

And the chest panel comes with parts to recreate the scene in "The Movie" when he was mortally wounded. The panel can be replaced by replacing the normal panel. There are details on the inside of the panel as well.

Here is the damaged chest panel. It is very painful!

The backsides of both panels are also detailed.

The last accessory we will show you is the blaster that was picked up in the play.

The blaster was found in the play, and it is shown here with the following words: "Oh, I've lost! This is my loss, Convoy! Show some mercy, but only life!"

"How long I have waited for this moment, Convoy, and now it is over for you. I've waited too long for this, Convoy, and now it's over for you.

But it is very "Transformers" that the fatal wound to Convoy was not inflicted by the fusion cannon, but by a blaster he picked up.

So, that's it for the review.

The size is easy to handle, moves well, and is painted perfectly, complete with lights and other accessories that only Megatron can provide. What do you think?

This is just the first batch, but we can't wait to see what other Transformers are in store for us in the future.

Let's keep checking back!

Oh, by the way, I've been in a few Transformers myself, including Decepticon Beacon and Foiljack in "Prime" and "Kick Back" in "Adventure.

I also sang the famous song "Cool Easy! I'm also the one who sang the famous song "Cool Easy!

Please check it out too!
