A TV anime adaptation of "A Countryside Old Man Becomes a Sword Saint" is scheduled to begin in 2025! Broadcasting will begin in April on TV Asahi!

It has been announced that the popular work "Kataragata no ossan, kensei ni naru", which has sold over 5.5 million copies in total, will be adapted into an anime starting in April 2025 on BS Asahi and the "IMAnimation" slot on TV Asahi's nationwide network of 24 stations. In addition, a teaser visual and a teaser PV have been released.

Based on a novel by author Shigeru Sagasaki and illustrator Tetsuhiro Nabeshima, "Katakasa no ossan, kensei ni naru" is a very popular work that has sold more than 5.5 million copies in total, including a comic book series by Kazuki Satou.
