Castlevania, the Gothic Horror Masterpiece, Comes to Dead by Daylight! Collaboration chapters to be released on August 28th!

The asymmetrical competitive multiplayer horror game "Dead by Daylight" will feature Castlevania, Japan's most famous Gothic horror masterpiece.

Starting today, Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at midnight, the collaborative chapter "Dead by Daylight: Castlevania" will begin a limited-time public test build (PTB) on Steam. In this chapter, the new killer Dracula and the new survivor Trevor Belmont are lured into a foggy forest.

The history of video games cannot be told without Castlevania, one of Konami Digital Entertainment's most popular series, which was first released on the NES in 1986, followed by the NES Disk System in 1987, and has remained popular ever since. The "Dracula" series is a timeless classic about vampires that has long held its own in the video game industry.

For many, including the team behind "Dead by Daylight," the original 8-bit Castlevania was a pioneer in the horror game genre. Since then, numerous sequel titles, a hit animated series, and a worldview built over the decades have kept Castlevania at the top of the horror world, and now it is finally coming to "Dead by Daylight".

Dracula's power as the new killer is closely linked to his castle, which the entity has also drawn into the Foggy Forest. When Dracula appears as a killer on an existing map, players will see a disturbing castle rising on the map's horizon. Dracula, from Castlevania, is the first vampire killer in the misty forests of Dead by Daylight. He is also the first to possess the shapeshifter ability to transform into various forms. With dignity and dignity following him and an unquenchable thirst for blood, Dracula looks down on humans, and the Entity's realm will be the perfect hunting ground for him in the dark of night.

The shapeshifter's ability to transform into various forms makes him adept at tracking survivors. In his "vampire" form, he can stalk his prey and conjure up bone-chilling flames.
