We're here to deodorize otaku! Part 2 of the report on various company booths, including deodorant, song ladies, etc. [Comic Market 104 Special Edition].

Comic Market 104, one of the world's largest subculture festivals, is being held at Ariake Big Sight in Tokyo for two days from August 11 (Sun.) to 12 (Mon.), 2024.

Comic Market is often thought of as a place for doujinshi and cosplayers to showcase their work, but it is also a place for subcultural expression, with a variety of circles and companies participating.
In this issue, Akiba Research Institute will report on the various manufacturers we met on the corporate floor.

In this article, we report on the various corporate booths that were full of individuality! Deodorant, a boat racing track, and even a singing lady! Each booth was promoting its own company with a variety of measures.

Wakayama Corporation



which handles the deodorant coating agent "Wilmets," exhibited with the aggressive hashtag "Otaku Deodorized.


The booth attracted many visitors who were concerned about odors.


Boat Race Tamagawa



Boat Race Tamagawa, located in Fuchu, exhibited again this year.


Cosplayers of the image character Shizunami Matsuri were in charge of PR.

Visitors were able to ride on a model of a boat and take commemorative photos.

SANKYO



The SANKYO booth, a pachinko/pachislot manufacturer, had a bubbly atmosphere with not only cosplayers but also actual cars on display and festival-like entertainment!

Aoi Matsuyama




Aoi Matsuyama, aka "Creative Songstress," will also exhibit at the corporate booth!


She will be performing live at Comiket on both the 11th and 12th, so if you are interested, please visit the booth.
