The store page for the Steam version of "Metropolitan Highway Battle" (overseas title "Tokyo Xtreme Racer") is now available.

The Steam version of "Metropolitan Highway Battle" is the first console racing game title released by Genki in 18 years, since "Metropolitan Highway Battle X" (Xbox360: July 27, 2006).

This is the first title to carry on the series in 18 years, and the logo also follows that of past titles with an awareness of returning to the roots.

The rivals from the series will once again race on the Metropolitan Loop Line in the "SP Battle.

Real vehicles and aero parts have also been recreated and included. The "SP Battle" is a fun way to customize your own car.

The game's gameplay, reproducibility, and worldview, which have been supported by the "Metropolitan Highway Battle" series, can now be enjoyed on Steam.

Metropolitan Highway Battle is a racing game series title, the first of which was released on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994.

With the Dreamcast "Metropolitan Highway Battle" released in 1999, the reproducibility of the courses was dramatically improved with the evolution of hardware performance. The game adopted Genki's unique "SP Battle" system, which specialized in battling rivals on the course, and was highly acclaimed for its gameplay.

Metropolitan Highway Battle 01" for PlayStation2 fully reproduced the three major cities of Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya. This title, the largest in volume, became the biggest hit in the series.
