Full remake of the classic heartwarming school ADV! Refine" will be released on PS4/Switch/PC on December 19, 2024 (Thursday).

Entergram announced that "Refine" for PlayStation4/Nintendo Switch/Windows PC will be released on December 19, 2024 (Thursday). In addition, pre-orders for the game are now being accepted at stores nationwide.

Refine" is a full remake of "Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku (Promise to the Blue Sky)," which was originally released for PC in 2006 and ported to PS2, PSP, PSVita, and other consoles.
The illustrations and BGM have been completely renewed, and new features such as map movement using dot pixels have been incorporated into the latest version of the game.

The visuals of the main heroine and event CG have been newly drawn by the original artist Nekonyan, and the 16:9 screen size is supported along with some renewed backgrounds.

In addition, the dot-pixel map movement used in this year's April Fool's Day project has been adopted in the main story as well. The new map allows users to freely walk around the school and Tsugumi's dormitory.

In addition, the opening movie of this work was released on the official Entergram Youtube channel at the same time the website was opened to the public. The theme song "allegretto~sora to kimi~" (vo. KOTOKO) remains unchanged, but the visuals have been newly drawn.

The promise I made to you that day still lives on this island.

A remote island a little south of Honshu.
The main characters attend a school on a hilltop where they climb a series of stone steps from the foot of the hilly island to a hill from which they can see the town below and the ocean.
However, the number of students has been gradually declining since the factory of a large company, which had accounted for most of the island's industry, will be leaving the island next year.
On another hill on the island, there is a dormitory converted from the old school building of the school.
Due to the decrease in the number of students, only the hero and heroines are currently living there.
The dormitory is now home to only the hero and heroine. A transfer student who somehow came to the dormitory at this time of the year is also involved, and they spend their days slapstick and fun, even though they sometimes rebel against each other.

<Characters

Rinna Sawaki

A second-year student at Takamizuka Academy.
She is the latest newcomer to the Tsugumi dormitory.
For some reason, she does not want to get involved with other people and is at odds with the nosy members of the dormitory.
He basically acts as if he is unmotivated, but in fact, he is a nationally ranked track and field athlete and gets very serious when it comes to using his body.
Although he is trying to hide it, his studies are on the verge of falling off the wagon.

Umi Hayama

A second-year student at the school.
Class 2-A committee member and secretary of the student council.
She and Wataru live next door to each other, and she still comes to wake him up in the mornings.
She is a weak-willed, shy girl who is always in the corner of the room, fidgeting and being reserved about everything.
She is a very good cook and is in charge of meal duty at the Tsugumi dormitory, where she is in charge of everyone's daily lives.

Naoko Asakura

A third-year student at the school.
Class 3-A committee member and student body president.
She is known as a typical honor student, but in fact she is a complete cat. She skillfully uses both her front and back faces to completely control the minds of teachers and students alike.
He is quick-witted and puts his ideas into action as soon as they occur to him.
He usually acts like a bully to his dorm mates, but when he senses malicious intent from the outside, he turns around and shows his thorough defense.

Miyaho Rokujo

A first-year student at the school.
Class 1-A committee member.
She is the granddaughter of the former head of the board of trustees and is a true lady.
However, due to her exciting life in the Tsugumi dormitory, she is in the process of breaking down her image as a "boxed-in" daughter.
She is good at explaining how to make someone's gags boring, which often leaves everyone in a state of shock. She is hopelessly clumsy with her hands and is not good at cooking or sports.

Shizuka Fujimura

A first-year student at the school.
She is a capricious girl who clings to the boat like a cat.
She is generally quiet and can study well except for Japanese.
She loves to bathe with Wataru and is very spoiled. If Wataru gets into an awkward situation with other Tsugumi dormitory members, she attacks them in an unorthodox manner.

Saeri Kirishima

Saeri Kirishima is Wataru's homeroom teacher and the head of the Tsugumi dormitory.
She is a new teacher in her second year in the position, and is not very reliable.
She is affectionately called "Sae-chan" by the students.
She is caught between the students and the school, which causes her stress and makes her cry in front of everyone, or get drunk and throw a tantrum.

Akane Mitamura
