The "Iron Giant God" and "Evil God Warrior" from the OVA "Galian the Armored World: Iron Crest" have been sculpted by various garage kit makers since their release, with their attractive design that combines mechanical elements and biological lines. In recent years, a toy kit has also been released by a different manufacturer, but now, after 38 years since its appearance, a plastic model that can be considered the definitive version has been released!

Moreover, the kit was completely supervised by Yutaka Izubuchi, who was in charge of the mecha design, so you can feel the strong attention to detail.

When you open the box, you will be overwhelmed by the density and the amount of information. The density and amount of information is overwhelming. Whenever I open a box of plastic models, I am always excited with a sense of anticipation.

The grip is easy to hold and the blade has high cutting ability, so these nippers are very powerful for cutting out parts.

For gate marks and parting laain on parts, Argofile Japan's "Magi-Suk (Multi-Zirconia Scraper)" was a great help.

Designed from the modeler's point of view, it is an excellent tool that is not only easy to use, but also has cutting ability and rigidity.

As with the Evangelion Unit 2 that we previously made, the technique of creating a "surface" at the joints between parts can be easily performed.

Finish by painting!

Now let's get to the fun part: painting. This time, I mainly used "Deep Red" by Finisher's and "Monza Red" by GSI Creos.

Since the molding color is red, just blowing on the red will give it a nice coloring. Believe in the potential of the paint and apply more and more without hesitation.

For the metal color, use Farejo's "Model Color. It is a water-soluble acrylic, so it is suitable for painting over lacquer-based paints. Even if it comes off, it can be easily removed with a cotton swab or toothpick moistened with water.

For the silver portion, GSI Creos "Little Armory Color Military Firearms Color Stainless Silver" and "Mr. Color Super Metallic Super Iron 2" are used. Using different textures of silver can create a nice atmosphere.

It is recommended to paint over the colors in this way while enjoying the tone of the colors.

Completion! Although there is a lot of work to be done, the joy of the finished product is even greater.

The expression of the Evil Soldier's hand is also wonderful.

The density is increased by painting the details in detail.

I wanted to contrast the Evil Warrior with the Iron God, so I used a matte finish. Using different metallic colors for each point gives a nice finish.

The kit itself has a lot of information and a lot of work to do because it is a confrontation object, but it is a composition that has been carefully considered for the creator, so if you take your time and work on it, I am sure you will finish it beautifully.
