Story

The protagonist Val, who lives in the fire village of Tiana, invites his childhood friend, Hina, to a festival to welcome faeries. Every four years, faeries visit various places to appoint a child who will travel to the Tree of Mana. The chosen Son will offer his soul to support the cycle of mana that fills the world. Eventually, as the sun sets, the sky sparkles and faeries descend upon the chicks. Val, as guardian of the soul, sets out on a journey to the tree of mana, blessed by the villagers, to protect Hina, who has been chosen by the Son.
