The original anime "The Legend of Heroes: Wataru the Magus" is a Sunrise-branded work that began in 1988. It has been announced that a new TV anime "Majin Souzouden Wataru" (read: Mashin Souzouden Wataru) will be produced as a story of a new savior who inherits the legend of the main character, SENBE Wataru.

It has been decided that "Majin Souzouden Wataru" will be broadcast from January 2025 on six Teleto-affiliated networks.

In "Wataru: The Creator of Demons", the main character, Wataru Hoshibe, appears as a luthero aiming to become a superstar. He and his partner, Ryujinmaru, battle in a buzzy adventure in an alien world of floating blocks!
