This title includes "Gensou Suikoden," which was released in 1995 and became popular as the first title in KONAMI's original RPG series, and its sequel, "Gensou Suikoden II," which takes place three years later. The moving story of the boys who bear the crest of the game has been revived in high sound and picture quality, while maintaining the original story. The game has evolved for easier play with auto-battles, double-speed battles, and other features.
Pre-orders for the PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam versions of the game have also begun today.

The original soundtrack of "Gensou Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Mon War/ Dunan Unification War" will be released as a 9-CD box set in Konami Style on March 6, 2025. The "Gensou Suikoden II" part includes "War 2" and "Battlefield Without Light," which were not included on the previous soundtrack CDs. In addition, "Orrizonte" and the Celtic arrangements from the "Arrangement Collection" series will be remastered and included.
