The 14-year long digital card game series "Dragon Ball Heroes" finally reaches its grand finale! The final game goes into operation today!

Meteor Mission 6, the latest installment of the popular "Super Dragon Ball Heroes" (SDBH) digital card game and the final installment in the "Dragon Ball Heroes" series, went into operation today, August 29, 2024 (Thursday).

Dragon Ball Heroes" began operation at amusement arcades nationwide on November 11, 2010.

The game allows players to enjoy battle games by placing cards on a flat panel and having characters instantly appear on the screen and moving or rubbing them. The game became a hit not only among adults but also among children who are Dragon Ball fans.

Later, the number of cards that can be used was increased from five to a maximum of seven, and the current title, "Super Dragon Ball Heroes," was launched in November 2016 with even more enhanced features.

The game gained further popularity for its realistic feel and original storyline, which allows players to enjoy 7-on-7 battles by making full use of cards.

The total number of cards shipped in the "Dragon Ball Heroes" series has exceeded 1.3 billion, and more than 2.1 million "Dragon Ball Heroes" licenses have been registered, including 1.6 million after the switch to the current "Super Dragon Ball Heroes" title. Super Dragon Ball Heroes" has been played more than 140 million times (not including the number of times cards are purchased).


Now, 14 years after the first Dragon Ball Heroes game, the 84th and final game in the series, Super Dragon Ball Heroes Meteor Mission 6, has gone into operation.
