Ubisoft Corporation, in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games, released "Star Wars: The Outlaws" today, August 30, 2024, for the Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation5 and Windows PC (Ubisoft Connect).

Developed by Massive Entertainment, "Star Wars: The Outlaws" will feature an original storyline that takes place between "Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back" and "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi," bringing the world of "Star Wars" to life like never before. (*1).

As the Galactic Empire seeks to eradicate the Rebel Alliance, the underworld grows in power. Take control of the cunning villain Kay Vess and her sidekick Nix as they embark on the largest robbery plot in the history of the Outer Rim. To start a new life, Kay and Nix fight, steal, and outsmart a criminal syndicate to become the most wanted criminals in the galaxy.

Star Wars: Outlaws" tells the story of Kay Vess and her partner Nix as they pursue the opportunity of a lifetime. The story takes place at a time when the war between the Empire and the Rebellion is raging and the underworld is enjoying its golden age in the shadows. Kay, who has made a name for herself as a skilled thief, is noticed by Surilo, the leader of a new crime syndicate, Zelek Besh, and a bounty is placed on her head. As a bounty hunter, Kay receives an invitation to participate in an unprecedented heist operation that will earn her as much money as she can free herself. Kay and Nix travel the underworld throughout the galaxy, establishing relationships with criminal syndicates such as the Pike Syndicate, the Hutt Cartel, the Ashega Klan (*2), and Crimson Dawn, respectively, and growing from a lone thief into a seasoned outlaw.

Control Kay and Nix to gain the upper hand in every situation. Use stealth and gadgets to gain the upper hand in battle, use Nicks to distract enemies, or blaster your way into combat. In order to pull off a desperate heist, Kay and Nix will team up with a variety of outlaws. Among them, the droid ND-5 has seen many battles. Kay's every action affects her relationship with each syndicate, which in turn affects her reputation. Therefore, he must always exercise prudent judgment when stealing expensive items, infiltrating secret facilities, and outwitting the enemy.

To gather the resources and crew needed for their heist mission, Kay and Nix travel across the galaxy, visiting both iconic planets from the series and new venues such as Canto Bight, Kizimi, Tatooine, Akiva, and the windswept savanna of Toshala (*2). Stop by vibrant cities and cantinas, ride a speeder through vast landscapes, and explore outer space at the controls of the starship "Trailblazer. When the going gets tough, the "Trailblazer" can chase, dodge, and attack enemies, or even gain the upper hand in thrilling dogfights with the Empire and other adversaries.

Star Wars: The Outlaws" will be released with full Japanese voices, in addition to Japanese localization of all text. The young outlaw, Kay Vess, will be voiced by Tachikako Yamaguchi, her droid sidekick ND-5 will be voiced by Hiroaki Okuda, and Keisuke Fujii will play the notorious Surilo.

Star Wars Outlaws: Wild Card" story pack - available Fall 2024 (*3)

　Kay is assigned to infiltrate the high-stakes card game "Sabak" tournament. There, Kay encounters notorious gambler Lando Calrissian and realizes that there is another game going on behind the tournament.

　Upon the release of the first story pack here, owners will receive the "Hunter's Legacy" bundle and the "Cartel Ronin" bundle. These bundles include additional costumes for Kay and Nix and cosmetic items for Kay's speeder and spaceship (Trailblazer).
