The four-frame manga "Yatogame-Chan Kansatsu Nikki" serialized in "Monthly ComicREX" (published by Ichijinsha) and on Twitter will begin airing as a TV anime in spring 2019, and its main cast has been announced.

Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki" (八十亀ちゃんかんさつにっき) is a four-frame manga full of love for Nagoya, serialized in "Monthly ComicREX" (published by Ichijinsha) and on Twitter by Masamoto Ando, who was born in Aichi Prefecture. It is a very popular local comedy that improves the status of Nagoya by observing the cute Yajukame-chan, and will be broadcast on TOKYO MX as well as on local TV Aichi. The animation general director is Hisayoshi Hirasawa, character design is by Satsuki Hayasaka, and animation production will be handled by Saetta.

The main cast of the TV anime of this work, which will start airing in spring 2019, has been announced, and it was revealed that the three local girls' character voices will be done by voice actors from the prefecture.

Haruka Tomatsu from Aichi Prefecture will play the role of the heroine, Yajikame Saika from Aichi Prefecture, Yuki Wakai from Gifu Prefecture will play the role of Mai Tadakusa from Gifu Prefecture, and Mikako Komatsu from Mie Prefecture will play the role of Yanna Sasazu from Mie Prefecture.

The casting was carefully chosen because of the many "local a-tenri" of the three Tokai prefectures in this production.
