2019 Winter Anime "Girly Air Force", Episode 3 Synopsis & Scene Cuts Released!

The TV anime "Girly Air Force," currently airing on TOKYO MX, BS11, AbemaTV, etc., has received a synopsis and advance scene cuts for its third episode.

Girly Air Force" is a light novel (illustrated by Asagi Tohsaka) by Kouji Natsumi, published by Dengeki Bunko (KADOKAWA), which is known for its fighter action featuring beautiful girls and fighter planes in the sky. Set in a world where mankind is threatened by the mysterious flying object "Zai," the boy-meets-girl story begins when a high school boy, Toshi Narutani, who has escaped from the Zai threat, meets a girl, Gripen, who is a pilot mechanism anima who controls a fighter called Daughter, which is the trump card of mankind. Animation production will be handled by "Satellite," which has produced the "Macross△" and "Symphogear" series.

The synopsis of the third episode "The Essence of Anima", which will be aired sequentially from January 24th, has been released and will be introduced here along with preceding scene cuts.

■Episode 3 "The Essence of Anima

Gripen finds stability by being with Satoshi, although the reason remains unexplained. The two continue simulator training and training for the test flight.
Once they complete the test flight and are able to fight on the front lines, it is not far off in the future that they will be able to exterminate the Zai. One day, however, Kei unexpectedly learns the truth about Daughter and Anima.
