Final Fantasy Official Brass Band Concert to be held from April 28! The ultimate participatory concert where everyone chooses the piece to be played!

SQUARE ENIX has announced that its fifth annual Final Fantasy official brass band concert, "BRA★BRA FINAL FANTASY Minna de Erabo! with Siena Wind Orchestra" will be held from April 28, 2019 (Sunday).

BRA★BRA FINAL FANTASY Minna de Erabo! with Siena Wind Orchestra" is the official brass band concert of "FINAL FANTASY" series, a milestone of Japanese RPGs.

In 2019, the fifth year of the concert, Nobuo Uematsu, the executive producer of the concert, and all the audience members at the concert site will choose the piece to be performed from the past BRA★BRA songs! Which songs will be played at each venue is up to everyone who attends. Your "bravo" may change the fate of the concert!

Nobuo Uematsu has composed music for numerous video games, including the "Final Fantasy" series, a milestone in role-playing games that has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide.

Her achievements are not limited to game music; "Eyes On Me," the theme song for "Final Fantasy VIII," for which she provided the music, won the "Song of the Year (Western Music Category)" at the 14th Japan Gold Disc Awards in 1999, the first time for a game music song. The company also provided the single "Kiss Me Goodbye" to Angela Aki, who is now an immensely popular female singer.
In May 2001, Time magazine introduced him as one of the "innovators" in music in "Time l 00: The Next Wave - Music", and in July 2007, Newsweek magazine named him one of the "100 Japanese People the World Respects". In 2013, he was voted third in the "Hall of Fame" by listeners of the British classical music broadcaster ℃lassie FM for his Final Fantasy soundtrack. Hirofumi Kurita
Conductor
Kurita won the first prize in the conducting section of the 23rd Tokyo International Music Competition in 1988, and made his conducting debut with a major Japanese orchestra the following year. In the same year, he won the first prize at the 1st Antonio Pedrotti International Conducting Competition.
In 1995, he won the highest prize at the 1st Sibelius International Conducting Competition. In the same year, he was invited by the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra to make his European debut. He has a wide repertoire of classical and contemporary works and actively collaborates with various genres. He is a guest professor at Kunitachi College of Music.

Siena Wind Orchestra #
A professional wind orchestra formed in 1990. Since 2002, the orchestra has been led by Yutaka Sado, and has recently welcomed a variety of conductors, including Hiroshi Aoshima and Akira Miyagawa, as guest conductors. In October 2010, the orchestra entered into a business partnership with Tokyo's Bunkyo Ward, and has been actively developing activities closely tied to the local community and educational institutions. They have also appeared on TV Asahi's "Untitled Concert" and released numerous CDs and DVDs, all of which have attracted a great deal of attention.

What is BRA★BRA FINAL FANTASY?
FINAL FANTASY is an official concert tour that has been held since 2015, featuring "brass band" performances of music from the FINAL FANTASY series. Composer Nobuo Uematsu is the executive producer, with Hirofumi Kurita conducting and the Siena Wind Orchestra, one of Japan's leading professional brass bands, performing.
