ROCK" theme for the 6th anniversary!　Presentation Report from "AnimeJapan 2019" with Yoshi Suzuki & Akane Fujita on stage.

AnimeJapan, a major anime event that has been held since 2014, will be held this year at Tokyo Big Sight from March 23 (Sat) to 26 (Tue), 2019. (Monday, March 25 and Tuesday, March 26 are business days.

An "AnimeJapan Presentation" was held on Friday, January 25 at animate hall on the 9th floor of animate Ikebukuro main store to announce the open stage program and the latest information about the "AnimeJapan 2019" organized events.

In addition to voice actors Yoshiaki Suzuki and Akane Fujita, AnimeJapan general producer Yosuke Nishiyama from KADOKAWA and Mizuho Saeki from TMS Entertainment took the stage. Kensuke Yamasaka from Animate appeared on stage as a member of the Official Merchandise sub-committee, Daichi Edamura from Aniplex as a member of the AJ "ROCK" Stage sub-committee, and Masaki Fujita from Toho as a member of the Production Works Gallery sub-committee. Mr. Masanori Fujita of Toho introduced the event.

Last year's AnimeJapan, held from March 22 (Thursday) to 25 (Sunday), 2018, attracted more than 150,000 total visitors.

In the presentation, the theme of the 6th event was announced as "ROCK," which is a perfect fit for the 6th event. In addition, a rock visual featuring 19 characters drawn under the theme of "ROCK" was unveiled, and it was announced that original goods based on the illustration would be sold and a charity auction would be held. In addition, the "AJ2019 National Unified Test Anison☆King DAM supported by Lis-Ani! will be held on the official AJ website, and other new plans to enjoy AnimeJapan outside of the real event were announced one after another.

The stage information that many of the attendees were expecting was also announced.

The "AJ "ROCK" Stage," which stands for "ROCK," will consist of the ROSE RED Stage (500-capacity @ East Hall 1) and the OASIS GREEN Stage (1000-capacity @ East Hall 1). (1000 capacity @ East Hall 1), <COBALT BLUE Stage (1000 capacity @ East Hall 4), and <KILLER PINK Stage (500 capacity @ East Hall 4). The attractive stages will include presentations of new anime, talk events, live performances, and more, featuring the hottest anime productions and gorgeous guests.

Please note that in order to be seated on the "AJ Open Stage," you must purchase an "admission ticket with stage application rights" and enter a lottery to win a seat on the stage.

Also announced at the event were a total of 19 ticket holder designs using original 6th anniversary visuals drawn for each work, and a total of four types of AJ "ROCK" hoodies.

Other creation-related projects were also announced.

The theme of the event was "Production", which is based on the concept of "Admire Animation Creation". This year's "Production Works Gallery," under the theme of "Aspire to Create Animation," focused on the "sound of animation" under the title of "Anime Nooto: Creating the Sound of Mobile Suit Gundam NT. Using "Mobile Suit Gundam NT" as the theme, the production process of "sound," which is essential to animation production, including music, sound effects, and postrecording, will be introduced with interviews with staff members. In addition, a booth will be set up where visitors can experience the role of sound while watching a video, and a corner will be developed where visitors can carefully enjoy the sound world of "Mobile Suit Gundam NT" filled with meticulous attention to detail.

The event will further include the announcement of the "AJ x SAO x Gibson Collaboration Guitar Charity Auction," where the collaboration guitar will be unveiled, and the "AJ2019 National Unified Test: Anison☆King DAM supported by Lis-Ani! The event also included a project where the audience could enjoy the atmosphere of the venue as quickly as possible, with the speakers challenging the example questions of the "AJ2019 National Unified Test: Anison☆King DAM supported by Lis-Ani!
