The smartphone game "Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp" updated today, January 30! Various New Elements Added, Including Futa's Exploration Sugoroku & Perio's Delivery Service

Nintendo has released information on the update implemented today, Wednesday, January 30, for "Animal Crossing Pocket Camp," an app for smart devices (iOS/Android) currently being distributed.

Animal Crossing Pocket Camp" is a game software that allows players to enjoy a freewheeling slow life. Players take on the role of a campground manager and create a lively campground where animals gather. At the campsite, you can chat with the animals, make friends with them by granting their requests, collect materials to craft furniture, go fishing at leisure spots, spread fruit, catch insects, and enjoy the camp life to your heart's content.

In this article, we will introduce new games and features added in the update (Ver. 2.1.0) implemented today, January 30 (Wed.).

■New play "Fouta's Exploration Sugoroku".
Tap Hoota on the map and use "Chizu" to send him off on an exploration. When you spend bells and craft materials and roll the dice, Hoota will progress along the Sugoroku as many times as the number of dice rolls out. You can get items and meet new animals at the squares where you stop and at the goal, and you can call the animals you meet to your campsite.

Perio's Delivery Service
Tap Perio on the map to see a list of animal requests. If you have an item that an animal wants, you can ask Perio to deliver it for you on the spot.

■ New fruits are now available!
New fruits have been added to the Wasawasa Forest and the Naminami River.
Each player can choose one type of fruit to be added.
The other two types of fruits can be obtained from friends' bazaars and other sources.

■Addition of garden functionality
In garden events, you can now "share" from your friend's details.
You will be able to see what kind of "rare creatures" your friends are in need of.
Also, "watering" can be done in batches from the "Friend Details" page.

Other Ver. 2.1.0 Information
The maximum friendship level has been increased from 25 to 30.
The "Camera Move" and "Camera Rotation" functions can now be toggled for cottages and campers.
New fortune cookies are now available!

Gumi's Sweet Chocolaterie, a fortune cookie that can recreate a chocolate specialty store, is now on sale.
