TV anime "Flame Firefighters", cast and character PV of Hinawa Takehisa revealed!

Kenichi Suzumura has been cast to play the role of Hinawa Takehisa in the TV anime adaptation of "Flame Firefighters". In addition, a character PV in which his voice can be heard has been released.

Flame Firefighters" is an anime work based on the manga of the same title by Atsushi Okubo, which is serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). It depicts the activities of a special firefighting team who fight against the "human body ignition phenomenon," in which people suddenly burst into flames and become "Kaenbito," monsters of flames that do everything in their power to destroy the human body.
The production staff includes Yuki Yase as director, Taketo Yashima as series composition, and Hideyuki Morioka as character design. The animation production will be handled by david production, whose works include "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" and "Hataraku Cell.

It has been decided that Kenichi Suzumura will play the role of Hinawa Takehisa, who appears as a company commander of the 8th special fire brigade.

In addition to this, a character PV with comments from Kenichi Suzumura and the voices of the characters has been released!

Kenichi Suzumura, who played Iyami in "Osomatsu-san" and Anti in "SSS.GRIDMAN," will be playing the cool and dry ex-military man, Hinawa Takehisa.

Q. What is your impression of the character Hinawa Takehisa?
Suzumura-san: He is cool and serious, but actually... he is a very hot guy. He seems to be inflexible, but he is the organizer of the 8th, and he always has a good argument. Without him, I'm sure the squad would be in trouble (laughs). I would like to play a behind-the-scenes role supporting the members.
