Tanita's crowdfunding campaign to increase "Twin Stick" production reaches 194% of its goal and is approved.

Tanita Corporation, a comprehensive health company, announced that its crowdfunding (CF) project to increase production of the XVCD-18-b 18-type control device "Twin Stick" has reached its goal of ¥86,707,491, or 194% of the ¥44,600,000 target amount.

This crowdfunding (CF) project aims to increase production of the "XVCD-18-b 18-type control device 'Twin Stick'" controller for Sega Games' "Virturon X Toaru Majutsu no Index: Toaru Majutsu no Den-No-Houkokusho" (*2) for the PS4 (*1). The company aims to increase production of the "XVCD-18-b 18-type Control Device 'Twin Stick'" controller for "A Certain Magical Index: Virturon. The project was conducted from December 21, 2011 (Friday) at 12:00 to January 30, 2011 (Wednesday) at 23:59, and was approved with 86,707,491 yen, or 194% of the target amount of 44,600,000 yen.

When combined with the previous CF project, the project raised a total of 136,482,258 yen, which is the largest amount ever raised by a CF project on "Campfire". The return product is scheduled to be shipped around March 2020.

The "Twin Stick" commercialization project is an attempt to commercialize "Twin Stick for life" with the full cooperation of Sanwa Denshi, a manufacturer and seller of amusement game joysticks and buttons, and Trusty Co. The project was conducted in October last year. The CF project was conducted in response to the many requests from VirtuaLon fans for an increase in production since the "Aiming to produce Twin Stick" CF project held in October last year was limited to 1,000 units.
