The "ULTRAMAN ARCHIVES" Premium Theater Screening & Special Talk", the second project of the "ULTRAMAN ARCHIVES" project to introduce new charms of Ultraman series works, will be held on Saturday, February 16.

To commemorate this event, Akiba Research Institute will give away a total of 5 pairs of invitation tickets to "ULTRAMAN ARCHIVES" Premium Theater Screening & Special Talk to 10 people.

The event will include a screening of "Garamon Strikes Back" (script by Tetsuo Kaneshiro, directed by Mimachi Nonose, special effects director by Toru Matoba) from "Ultra Q," which was broadcast in 1966 and became the origin of the Ultraman series, and a special talk show featuring special effects director Katsuro Onoe and special effects art director Toshio Miike. Limited color soft vinyls and visual books will also be on sale at the venue.

ULTRAMAN ARCHIVES" is a new project that spotlights the many Ultraman series from a new angle. The aim of the project is to introduce the appeal of Ultraman to people who have never seen the series before through various forms, such as videos, publications, and commercialization of products that incorporate materials from the time, testimonies from people involved in the production, and critiques by experts and perspectives unique to the modern age.

Executive Managing Director of Tokusatsu Kenkyujo Inc., Specially Appointed Professor at the Japan Academy of Moving Images, and Visiting Professor at Osaka University of Arts. Spent his high school years in Saga City. Moved to Tokyo when he entered university and entered the world of independent films. In 1987, he joined Tokusatsu Kenkyusho (Special Effects Research Institute) and directed special effects for the TV drama "Blue Swat" (1994).
