Anime "ULTRAMAN" Announces Additional Cast and Motion Actors! Cast includes Sumire Moroboshi, Kenjiro Tsuda, and other talented actors!

Additional cast members and motion actors have been announced for the full 3DCG animation "ULTRAMAN," which will be distributed simultaneously worldwide exclusively on Netflix from April 1 (Monday).

ULTRAMAN" is a manga series by Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi, creators of "Line Barrel of Iron" and other works, serialized in "Heroes" monthly magazine, and has become popular for its world view based on the popular special effects work "Ultraman" and its many novel settings, including the mechanically designed Ultraman suit. It is a popular work that has sold more than 2.8 million copies in total.
In December 2017, a full 3DCG animation version was announced.

Additional cast members include Sumire Moroboshi as Rena Sayama, Ken Uo as Mitsuhiro Ide, Shigeru Ushiyama as Ed, Ryota Takeuchi as Jack, Eiji Hanawa as Yosuke Endo, Hirokazu Sekido as Kurata, Minoru Shiraishi as Shiraishi, Kenjiro Tsuda as Adado, and Kaiji Sosei as Bemurah. Motion actors for the action scenes include Katsuyuki Yamazaki, Shinji Kasahara, and Teruaki Ogawa, all of whom have special effects backgrounds. In addition, scene cuts of heroes and aliens were also released to give a glimpse of the fierce battles that take place in the film. Mr. Endo, you look like a detective from the Showa period. It was difficult and fun to play the role of this intense yet quiet man who has extraordinary feelings for Ultraman. I was especially careful to change between the detective part with Kurata and the father-son part with Rena. I am looking forward to seeing how the character, which was created in collaboration with the motion capture actors, will turn out on film.
