Astra Beyond" will be adapted into a TV anime! Popular science fiction survival story by Kenta Shinohara of "SKET DANCE

A TV anime adaptation of "Astra Beyond" by Kenta Shinohara has been announced.

The manga was serialized on the web comic distribution site "Shonen Jump +" (Shueisha), and was nominated for "This Manga is Amazing! The setting is a near-future world where space travel has become commonplace. It is a science fiction survival story about nine boys and girls who set off for a planetary camp and encounter unexpected situations on their journey.

The TV anime adaptation of this work has now been decided, and a teaser visual has been released. A comment from Kenta Shinohara, the author of the original work, has also been received.

The staff information of the anime was also released. Directed by "Gakkou Gurashi! and "Saibu Muundei no Jinsou Kikiryu" by Masaomi Ando, series composition by Norimitsu Kaiho of "Gunslinger Stratos" and "Gakkou Gurashi! and "Gakko Gurashi!", and character design by Keiko Kurosawa of "Asobi Asobase" and "Konohana Kitan". Animation production will be handled by "Lerche", the company that produced "Asobiverse" and "Konohana Kitan".

The cast and broadcast schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
