Attack on Titan SPECIAL EVENT," a special event for the TV anime "Shinketsu no Kyojin" Season 3 Part 2, which will begin airing on NHK Sogo in April 2019, was held at Chofu City Green Hall on Sunday, February 3.

Shinkage no Kyojin" is an anime work based on the comic series by Hajime Isayama serialized in "Bessatsu Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). It is a dark fantasy depicting the battle between man-eating Titans and humans, as well as mysteries and conspiracies surrounding the world.
Season 1 was broadcast from April to September 2013 and Season 2 from April to June 2017, and became a huge hit due to the overwhelming quality of its powerful action and tension-filled direction. The series gained popularity around the world, and a theatrical compilation and a live-action movie were also produced. General director is Tetsuro Araki, director is Masashi Hizuka, series composition is Yasuko Kobayashi, character design is Kyoji Asano, and music is Hiroyuki Sawano. Production is by WITSTUDIO; Season 3 Part 2 (episodes 50-) of the anime will begin airing on NHK Sogo in April 2019.

The event consisted of a talk corner by eight cast members and a reading of an original story newly written by Koji Seko, who is in charge of the script for this work.

The talk corner "Season 3 Part.1 Chronological Talk" in the afternoon session looked back the events of the TV anime "Shinkage no Kyojin" Season 3 Part.1 that aired from July to October last year in chronological order, and each cast member talked about their thoughts on a particularly memorable scene while watching anime footage projected on the big screen. The cast members talked about their thoughts on the most memorable scenes in the anime.
In the evening session, "Answer the Questions! Cast Question TALK!" was held in the evening session, where the cast members answered questions from the other cast members, and General Director Araki and Director Hizuka asked questions of the eight cast members.

The reading play began with narration by Marina Inoue, who plays Armin, and delved into the events on the eve of the operation to retake Wall Maria between the final episode of Season 3 Part 1 and the first episode of Part 2 (Episode 50) from the perspective of each character. After the reading, a part of the first part of the full-length movie of Season 3 Part 2 (Episode 50), which will be broadcast from April, was shown as a surprise. The ending of the event was followed by the release of new information and a commentary movie from Linked Horizon, who will be in charge of the opening theme, and cinema staff, who will be in charge of the ending theme.
