Virtual artist IA appears in JR East's "Let's Grow Guide AI Together Project!

Monogokoro, an AI technology developer, has collaborated with IA, a virtual artist produced by 1st PLACE, on a digital signage type guidance AI "Virtual Attendant" in the "Let's Grow Guide AI Together" project conducted by JR East Group. The "Virtual Attendant" is a digital signage-type guidance AI produced by 1st PLACE in collaboration with IA, a virtual artist.

The "Virtual Attendant" is an interactive digital signage system that integrates Monogokoro's natural language processing and other AI-related technologies, CG character animation technology, and the voice technology and hardware know-how of partner companies into a single package. When users speak to the characters, the content is analyzed and the characters answer using voice and display screen.

The "Let's Grow Guide AI Together Project," a collaboration between monogokoro and virtual artist IA, will install guide robots and digital signage at several terminal stations and commercial facilities (e.g., echinacas and hotels) on the Yamanote Line. The project aims to build a smarter guidance AI system by improving the accuracy of the AI's answers to various questions from users through providing guidance in and around the stations and souvenirs, etc. This time, a version in collaboration with virtual artist IA and a kimono-dressed guidance AI "Virtual Attendant This time, a collaborative version with virtual artist IA and a kimono-clad "Virtual Attendant Akane" will be installed at Ueno Station.


The "Let's Grow Guide AI Together Project
Guide robots and digital signage will be installed at several terminal stations and commercial facilities (e.g., echinka and hotels) on the Yamanote Line, and guide chatbots will be deployed to provide information in and around stations, as well as information on souvenirs.
The project aims to build a smarter guidance AI system by answering various questions from customers at each location and improving the accuracy of the answers through AI learning based on the content of the questions.
This experiment is a part of the Mobility Transformation Consortium's demonstration experiment.
