Pokémon Inc. announced that a color variant of the phantom Pokémon Meltan will be available for a limited time in the Pokémon GO smartphone app.

The period is from 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 to 4:59 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.

This time, as a thank you to Pokémon Trainers who play both the Nintendo Switch software "Pokémon Let's Go! Pikachu and Let's Go! Eevee" on sale and the smartphone app "Pokémon GO," the color variant of the fantastic Pokémon Meltan, MELTAN" will appear in "Pokémon GO" for a limited time.

MELTAN" is a rare Pokémon that can be obtained by using the "Fushigi na Hako," and a different-colored version has not been discovered until now, making this the first time it has appeared!　This key "Fushigi no Hakko" can be obtained in "Pokemon GO" when you send a Pokemon from "Pokemon GO" to "Pokemon Pica Buoy" for the first time.

In addition, by collecting 400 "Meltan Candy" in "Pokemon GO", a different-colored "Meltan" can be evolved into a different-colored "Mel Metal". This different-colored "Mel Metal" will also appear for the first time.
