No visualization! One-night-only festival of character songs and readings "Monogatari Fest -10th Anniversary-" will be held on May 11!

In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the anime series by Ishin Nishio, "Monogatari Fest -10th Anniversary Story-," a "one-night-only" festival featuring character songs and readings, will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019, at the Makuhari Messe Event Hall in Chiba Prefecture. The anime series "Monogatari" written by Ishin Nishio, which started in 2009 with the TV anime "Bakemonogatari," will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2019.
A mysterious countdown had recently started on the anime's official website, and today, February 6 (Wed.) at 17:00, the countdown has ended, and the details of the "Monogatari Fest -10th Anniversary Story-", a "one-night-only" festival featuring character songs and readings, was finally announced. The event will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Makuhari Messe Event Hall in Chiba Prefecture.

The event will feature Hiroshi Kamiya, who plays the main character Araragi Koyomi, as well as the cast members who portray the main heroines of the series.
The event will be a "one-night-only" event, with the characters singing the theme song and reciting a reading that will be available only at the event.

Priority sales application tickets for this event will be enclosed in the Blu-ray and DVD "Sequel to the Last Story: Koyomi Rebirth" (Limited Edition) to be released on February 27, 2019 (Wednesday) and "Sequel to the Last Story: Koyomi Rebirth" (Limited Edition) to be released on March 27, 2019 (Wednesday).

In addition, along with this information, it has been decided that the TV anime "Sequel to the Last Story," which was screened at 30 theaters nationwide last November, will be broadcast in April 2019. The first six episodes will be a selection of the "Monogatari" series, and the second six episodes will be "Sequel to the Last Story".
