Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) has released "#1 Savage Friends, CoD:BO4" on PlayStation Japan's official YouTube channel, a game variety program in which various guests pursue new ways to enjoy games. In this program, guests who are known to be good friends in their private lives and guests with a combination of completely different directions gather for each episode. The program will delve into the charms of games through the enjoyment of the game from the bottom of their hearts in a variety of elaborate projects that expand the ways in which they enjoy games.

In the first episode, "#1: Savage Friends, CoD:BO4," guests who love survival games (savage games) gather to challenge the battle royale mode "BLACKOUT" of the popular first-person shooting (FPS) game "Call of Duty: Black Ops 4" for PS4, popularly known as "CoD.
