The cover photo, preview video, and original corporate bonus images for the "Bride of the Fifth Estate" character song mini-album have arrived!

Jacket shots, preview videos, and original corporate bonus images of the character song and mini album have arrived from "The Bride of the Fifth Class," which is airing on TBS and other stations from January 10, 2019 (Thursday).

The "Bride of the Fifth Class" is a popular comic series by Haruba Negi serialized in "Shukan Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), which has sold more than 1.5 million copies (the latest volume 7 was released on December 17). The main character, a high school boy living in poverty, becomes a tutor for five sisters with rich personalities who are on the verge of flunking out of high school, and struggles to lead them to graduation.

The "Bride of the Fifth Class" character song mini album, which doesn't look like a character song but is, in fact, a character song, has been released with a cover photo, sample video, and original corporate bonus image.

The first impression one gets from listening to any of the songs is that they "don't sound like character songs in a good way," but a closer look at the lyrics reveals that they "sound very much like character songs. Each of the five children has different feelings for the main character, Futaro Uesugi, and these feelings are reflected in the lyrics of each song. Moreover, the lyrics of the songs are named after the characters' numbers (e.g., Ichika Nakano's character song has the number "ichi"), which adds to the fun of listening to the full-size versions of all the songs.

The creators of this playful work are EFFY, Masaki Honda, Kazunori Watanabe, Keita Miyoshi, and Hajime Mitsumasu, who composed & arranged each character song, and Ira Yuki is in charge of all lyrics. In other words, this work brought together the hit makers who lead the current ani-song genre and made full use of the five unique characteristics of the five children to create a wonderful work of art.
