Notice the curious depiction of Kanon's past! The Bermuda Triangle - Colorful Pastorale" Loose-Fitting Thoughts Episode 3 "The Five of Us Together"

This was the third episode of the anime "Bermuda Triangle - Colorful Pastorale", probably the Kanon episode.

The pre-opening part depicted a harrowing scene in which Kanon, standing alone on a stage at a live concert venue with a microphone, tries to sing but her voice does not ...... come out (it is a dream).

In Andersen's fairy tale "The Little Mermaid," the mermaid gets human legs in exchange for her voice. In the first and second episodes, it seemed to me that the story emphasized that although they were mermaids, they were ordinary girls, so I was surprised to see the motifs of "mermaid" and "idol" suddenly thrown into the picture. It was heartbreaking to switch from a distant camera to a closer camera and to include a moment at the beginning of the film in which the viewer is not so aware of Kanon's feet.

Is this scene a dream of Kanon's? Considering that Kanon closed her mind and crystallized at the end, it made me think during the opening that maybe it has something to do with Kanon's experiences before she came to Parrelle Village .......

From her first words of "sour" when a jellyfish drifting on her bed blocked her mouth and gave her nightmares, to her city-born realist's assessment of a movie theater on the outskirts of the village as "rundown" but flippantly finding a beautiful kineob, episode 3 revealed even more of Kanon's personality in a small way.

Episode 3 is delicate in its narrative construction, depicting how Kanon, who is weak in the morning, enjoys the time with the five of them so much that she gets up early, and the difference between a meal eaten by the five of them and one alone. The small passing of favors was a bit heartbreaking, but I think Kanon needed the alone time to really feel the warmth and comfort of being with everyone.

After receiving the gift of a wonderful view that can only be seen in Parrelle, Kanon confesses that she has been running away from being scouted by an idol in Atlantia and that she now feels comfortable with this village and with the five of us. These are very important words because Kanon is a girl who says what she thinks and how she really feels.

It was the kind of episode that makes us hope that the time that passes between the five of them and the village of Parrel will become comfortable for those of us who are watching.

In "Vanguard," the Bermuda△ clan is a group of mermaids and idols. What kind of story will Kanon's past and the word "idol," which is mentioned for the first time in the work, lead to? We look forward to seeing it.
