Mobile Suit V Gundam World" is currently being held at Gundam Base Tokyo, an official Gunpla complex on the 7th floor of DiverCity Tokyo in Odaiba, Tokyo. The event will be held from February 9 to March 4.

Mobile Suit V Gundam" is a TV series that was broadcast for the first time in six years, from 1993 to 1994. It depicts the story of a new era, 60 years after the era of "Char of the Counterattack," when a complete generational shift took place.

At first glance, the story is simple: Uso, a boy skilled in combat technology, fights against the Zanskar Empire that is invading the earth, piloting the V Gundam, a mobile suit of the resistance organization "Riga Militia. The heroine Shakti has an unfortunate constitution that causes problems wherever she goes. The story is full of scary ladies, such as Katejina, who appear in the film in great numbers, and all the people who appear in the film have strong personalities, making it impossible to take your eyes off the story. I mean, I was just dumbfounded every time.

As for mobile suits, while Riga Militia has the V Gundam, which combines three flying machines, and the Gan Eazy, a mass-produced mobile suit, the Zanskar Empire has a mysterious new weapon, a beam rotor that forms a helicopter propeller on the arm of a mobile suit and flies leisurely, and the Zanskar Empire has the V Gundam, a flying machine that combines three flying machines, and the Gun Eazy, a mass-produced mobile suit. When I entered the store first thing in the morning, I was greeted by Akira Senju's "V Gundam" soundtrack playing in the store! The "V-gun" soundtrack, which is both uplifting and tragic, immediately raised my spirits.

The Gunpla sales space was filled with a large number of "V-Gun" kits! Not only the latest MG and HGUC series, but also old kits were available. Incidentally, if you purchase one or more "V Gundam" kits during the period and spend more than 3,000 yen (including tax), you will receive a free "Shurak-tai" (a mobile suit unit of Riga Militia that appears in "V Gundam"; the "V Gundam" series). ). The company said that you can get a clear file of the Shurak Squad (a mobile suit unit of Riga Militia that appears in "V Gundam", consisting only of strangely sexy women, but they all eventually die). Also on display were examples of old kits.

In particular, the 1/60 scale "HGEX V2 Gundam" is quite impressive. Although the proportions were a bit difficult, the fully deformable V2 Gundam brought back memories of real time, when I was boondocking with excitement.

The Zanskar Empire's mobile suits are also unique and quite cool.

I remember the Zoro and Shakko, the first Zanskar machines that appeared on ......, but they were never made into kits. ...... Could you please take this opportunity to make them into kits!!!! Mr. Bandai!!!

As a collaboration project with Hobby Japan, a diorama reproducing famous scenes from the play and examples of works were also exhibited.

The choice of scenes was exquisite. The episode of protecting the launch pad of the mass driver was shocking. It brought back memories of those days.

Also on display were oversized panels showing the characters and mobile suits.

There is also a panel where you can take commemorative photos with the ladies of the Shurak Unit, making this exhibit a must-see for "V-gun" freaks.

The silhouettes are so vague that I can hardly see them, so I can't imagine what will be commercialized, but at any rate, I can't help but have high hopes that the "V Gundam" will not stop!
